Thank you for your understanding as i wait to hear from you.
Lucky you. At the last workshop I attended he said that he was in the middle of moving to a new location. I have attended four of his workshops, 3 of them in Hawaii. I'm hoping to attend one that he is conducting in Hall, Montana in May. It is only about 2 hours from here. I love mandala workshops so much. It is just so great to be surrounded by souls who "get me", that is why I'm attracted to this site. I also teach weekend workshops and tuesday night classes. My students love painting mandalas as well and I've made many new friends at these workshops. I've taught other art classes in the past but there really is something special about the mandala, yeah?
One more time, thank you so much for your teaching. You are an excellent teacher and a wonderful person so spiritual.
I will always love your beautiful mandalas.
Highest Blessings and Love!
Hi Charlotte, yes it is dimensional paint. I use it a lot, sometimes rather thick, I like to go thick to thin, get lots of variation. I'm not so good at the straight lines and rarely try to use them, I do dots instead. I learned the technique from Paul Huessenstamm. Have you learned from him as well, I see a lot of his technique in your work? Linda
I LOVE that idea. I watch this show called Uncommon threads. They are fabric artists and every week a new artisan group is featured. They meet once a week or once a month and do projects together, inspire and support each other. I used to be the President of a local artisan chapter http://www.decorativeartisans.org/about_sali.php and we tried to make the group educational. Every month we would pick a technique or bring in a teacher and paint together. I know Paul wants to get people using the studio and generating an income on it's down time. If we could get enough people and charge a small fee we could use his studio. Let me know what you think.
